Meraki

Meraki is a family-owned business that serves up brunch with beautiful coffee to help you fuel up for your big day exploring. They’ve got all the classics like smashed avo and bacon and egg rolls, but they also serve up brekky with a twist with meals like the Texas Benedict – eggs benny with pulled beef and tomato salsa.

Keep in mind this spot is popular – you may have to wait for a table, but they’ve got you covered with a waiting area where you can sip your coffee and read the paper before you’re seated.

Meraki is located at 1 Roberts St, Jurien Bay.

Jurien Seafoods

Fish and chips at the beach is an absolute must and Jurien Seafoods is a classic takeaway shop frying up the goods!

They do a variety of fish and chip packs, burgers, squid and chips as well as takeaway staples like chiko rolls, pineapple fritters and dim sims.

There are picnic tables out the front but why not head to the beach to enjoy your hot chippies as you watch the sunset – bliss.

Jurien Bay Seafoods is located at 24 Bashford St, Jurien Bay.

Fish and Chips

Lobster Shack

While technically in Cervantes, it’s included in this list because it’s an absolute icon – no trip to Jurien Bay is complete without stopping in for lunch.

Lobster Shack is family-owned and operated and they’ve been Rock Lobster fishing in the area since the 60’s! These days they supply premium grade lobster to both domestic and international markets.

Sit out on the deck overlooking the Indian Ocean with a beer or cocktail in hand as you indulge in the local WA produce. Enjoy lobster cooked with garlic butter, Spanish mackerel and chips, a lobster roll, WA abalone or Cervantes octopus. Just keep in mind the seagulls that hang around can be cheeky – they will try to steal your lunch if you don’t keep an eye on them!

Visitors can also take a tour through the lobster processing plant to gain an insight into WA’s rock lobster industry.

Lobster Shack is located at 37 Catalonia St, Cervantes.

Jurien Bay Beach Cafe

Jurien Bay Beach Cafe is situated in the ultimate location – overlooking the ocean a stone’s throw from the Jurien Bay Jetty.

Their friendly staff serve up breakfast, lunch and dinner at affordable prices.

I recommend choosing an outside table and enjoying fresh prawns and a cocktail as you watch the sunset over the ocean – unbeatable!

Jurien Bay Beach Cafe is located on the corner of Roberts and Heaton Street in Jurien Bay.

Their service is great plus they’ve got a killer cocktail list!

The One is located at 12 Murray St, Jurien Bay.

Kakka Alley Brewing Co.

Kakka Alley is just a 5-minute drive from the Jurien Bay town centre and is an absolute must on your next trip to Jurien Bay. The venue’s rustic, nautical decor fits the seaside location perfectly.

They’ve got guest taps from all around WA so you can enjoy a brew in the laid-back beer garden. There’s even a fire pit for those chilly afternoons!

Kakka Alley dishes up a variety of pizzas that pair perfectly with that well-earned beer.

Kakka Alley Brewing is located at 12 Gypsum St, Jurien Bay

Sandpiper Tavern and Little C’s Pizzeria

Sandpiper Tavern and Pizzeria serves up a large range of pizza. If that’s not your thing they’ve also got a huge mains menu with classics like chicken parmis and steaks as well as some more interesting meals like duck gnocchi and Spanish-style beef cheeks.

The serving sizes are large, so you’ll be leaving feeling happy and full. They also sometimes have live Sunday Session performers.

Sandpiper Tavern and Pizzeria is located at 12 Roberts St, Jurien Bay.
