Whether you prefer the beach, the hills, or a hidden retreat, picking the perfect location sets the tone for your getaway. Consider places that offer a mix of relaxation, scenery, and activities you’ll both enjoy.

Book Early

Perth’s most romantic spots and activities can fill up quickly, especially on weekends and school holidays. To avoid disappointment, book your accommodation, dinner reservations, and any activities well in advance.

Plan Surprise Elements

Add a special touch to your weekend by organising surprise experiences for your special someone. Think about booking a private dinner, reserving a spa treatment, joining a special tour, creating a DIY picnic basket or grazing board to make the trip even more memorable.

If you’re planning a special occasion like an anniversary or honeymoon, call the hotel to request surprises like champagne on arrival, flowers in the room, rose petals on the bed or similar room touches.

Plan Unique Experiences

Make your getaway extra special by adding something unique. A private couples’ massage, a hot air balloon ride, or a sunset cruise can create lasting memories.

Plan Some Downtime

It’s super tempting to fill your itinerary with fun activities, but make sure you leave room for quiet moments. Whether it’s lounging by the pool, watching the sunset, soaking in a spa, downtime is key to relaxing together.

Consider the Season

Tailor your plans to the season. In summer, take advantage of Perth’s stunning beaches, while in winter, cosy up by the fire at a hillside retreat.
